The House's long and remarkable history includes being the scene of lavish parties for the Austro-Hungarian Price Esterhazy*.

Now owned by the Royal Society of Medicine, Chandos House had an extensive £5 million restoration in 2005. Fully returned to it's former splendour, Chandos contains many original features such as marble fireplaces, painted ceiling murals and crystal chandeliers. The period décor provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable wedding day celebrations.
Chandos has 5 breath-taking function rooms for weddings and is licensed for ceremonies up to 80 guests. Our maximum capacities are:
- 80 civil ceremony
- 110 wedding breakfast
- 150 reception
The House can be hired exclusively for larger weddings whilst we also offer individual room hire for intimate ceremonies. Alternatively the House can be used just for your ceremony, or for an evening reception.
As well as our 5 function rooms, we also have a Garden Terrace which provides a private haven in the centre of London. We also have 17 bedrooms, allowing you to base your entire celebration - ceremony, reception and wedding night - within our beautiful Georgian property.
