The Estate comprises of 3500 acres of land with four farms, woodland and approximately three miles of foreshore. Castle Rooms
This wedding venue near Exeter is available for exclusive use for civil ceremonies, civil partnerships, blessings in the Chapel and wedding receptions. Rooms which can be hired include:

The vast Music Room which is light and airy; with a splendid domed ceiling creating wonderful acoustics.

The Dining Room has an exceptionally warm and welcoming atmosphere with a fireplace and minstrel's gallery often used by string quartets.

The Rose Garden Terrace is ideal for a summer champagne reception and can hold up to 1000 guests.

Wedding License
Couples can get married in a number of stunning locations on the Estate including the 18th century Pavilion in the Woodland Garden, the White Drawing Room, the Staircase Hall and the Rose Terrace Entrance.

There are eight rooms within Powderham Castle which you can hire for a maximum of 18 wedding guests - please ask for more details.
