THE CASTLE FIELD

An impressive location for any event, the Castle Field is situated right beneath the historic Caerhays Castle. The Castle Field is a gay-friendly wedding reception venue and offers views of the lake and historic deer park, as well as the castle, which serves as a breath-taking backdrop for your wedding reception.

A marquee on the Field can accommodate up to 250 people. Both The Cutting and another of our reception venues, the Castle Field, are hired out as ‘Green field’ sites, meaning there is plenty of scope to put your own stamp on the venue should you wish, allowing your wedding reception to reflect your unique personalities. Here on Caerhays Estate no two weddings are the same. We love to hear each couple’s special ideas, and we believe each wedding should be as individual as the couple who celebrates it.

Guest will enjoy a sea-view on the journey to the Venue, and Porthluney beach with its newly-refurbished Beach Café is a short walk away. Opportunities for photographs to be taken on the Beach are encouraged at no extra cost.

About Caerhays Estate: As well as our historic Castle and world-renown gardens, Caerhays estate offers two very different wedding venues licensed for ceremonies and three stunning reception venues.
