Two months ago we were congratulating one of our venues; Heaton House Farm on their recent awards. Today we received notification of their, very, successful Wedding Fayre which was held on the 1st March. It sounds and looks like a fabulous time was had by all!
Sunday 1st March 2015 brought the much anticipated 6th annual Wedding Fayre at the beautiful wedding venue Heaton House Farm. With over 180 couples attending it was their biggest and best so far!
As the venue opened its doors, the buzz of excitement could be felt with engaged couples excitedly browsing stalls for the wonderful array of products and services available to them. With over 40 of the wedding industries elite suppliers including Photographers, Caterers, Bridalwear, Groomswear, Florists, Hair & Make-up, Transport, Entertainment and many more, couples were utterly spoilt for choice! The fresh ideas really set pulses racing and lots of great relationships were forged between couples and suppliers. Cris Lowis, Cris Lowis Photography – “Fantastic wedding fayre. Great turnout and really well organised. Met loads of lovely couples for weddings over the next three years”
Couples were given sweet treats from suppliers including an ice cream VW dub, chocolate fountain, as well as, delicious delights from expert caterers. Not many people went away hungry! A popular freebie was the Heaton House Events goody bag which was crammed full of lots of gorgeous little weddingy gifts and inspiration.
Many couples made a full day of it, recharging their batteries with lunch in the beautiful newly renovated barn ‘The Old Stableyard’, before hitting the stalls again. Lyndsay Bridgwood, Bride – “The catwalk was fantastic! Everyone was so polite and pleasant. It was fun and different. The food was beautiful and there were lots of suppliers”
Heaton House Farm’s wedding fayre is highly regarded as one of the best in the area with suppliers and couples alike wishing to attend. This year Heaton House Events Team pulled out all the stops and surprised the catwalk show audiences with fire breathers and a live dance performance of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking out loud’. The refreshing change to the catwalk routine proved to be a huge success and displays the innovative thinking from the event organisers! Christopher Hammond, Events Coordinator at Heaton House Events Ltd – “The fayre has been very popular and a fantastic day for all guests. It has been great to see so many people get inspiration from the exhibitors”
The atmosphere was captured and broadcast live on radio, with some very giddy interviews from suppliers and couples.
