Reasons to Get Married in Staffordshire
So, you’re getting married: congratulations! While gay marriage is legal and celebrated in the UK, we’re aware that not all wedding venues are totally welcoming of it. Your wedding day should be the most special day of your life, free from stress and discrimination. Therefore, we’ve taken the time to compile a list of all the best gay-friendly wedding venues in the UK, so all you have to do is choose the county and make your booking! Sounds great, right? If you’re unsure of where you want to get married, it’s worth shopping around and having a look at which county you like the most. Why not consider Staffordshire?
Located in the West Midlands, Staffordshire is a county that borders Cheshire to the north west, Derbyshire and Leicestershire to the east, Warwickshire to the south east, West Midlands and Worcestershire to the south, and Shropshire to the west. Being in the Midlands means that the county has excellent connections to both the North and the South, which is ideal for those couples who have family in both parts! Not only this, but Staffordshire is also a gorgeous place, with lots of picturesque views which make perfect backdrops for wedding photos!
When it comes to selecting your venue, you need to think about what kind of wedding you want. If you want a relaxing day, how about tying the knot at a country spa? Obsessed with hotels? There are plenty to choose from in Staffordshire! Also, due to the large amount of Tudor architecture that has survived in the county, there are a few hotels and taverns that you can get married in, offering 16th century ambience with 21st century style and convenience.
