Nestled in the heart of the Dorset countryside lies The World’s End Inn at Almer. A beautiful, thatched 14th Century English Inn, full of charm and large landscaped gardens, boasting a rich history and a warm welcome. The Inn combines traditional warmth with rustic decor, creating an inviting space for your celebration, civil ceremony or partnership or same sex wedding.

We are a LGBTQ friendly and fully inclusive venue and we welcome all couples, same sex or otherwise. Our aim is to give you your ideal day, just as you always dreamed! Our dedicated Events manager will be with you through your entire journey, from the moment you first get in touch to congratulating you on your special day. The World’s End holds a full legal wedding licence allowing you to hold your civil ceremony or civil partnership with us, and an entertainment license until midnight so you can party the night away with your friends and family.

Delight in locally sourced cuisine crafted by our talented chefs and savour our wide range of beer, cider and wine. From hot buffets to 3 course seated wedding breakfasts we can cater for every culinary desire and dietary requirement. Combine your perfect menu with our wide array of drinks packages, sip our elegant Prosecco as you arrive, pair our wines with your wedding breakfast and raise a glass of Champagne or English sparkling to toast the happy couple. Why stop there? Get the party started with a cheeky cocktail or two as your evening guests arrive and enjoy a leisurely apéritif or liqueur coffee at the end of the night.

Looking for an outdoor celebration? Host up to 80 guests in our picturesque garden including a spacious open barn, for you to decorate as you please.

Our private Barn and Patio Garden is a delightful sunny spot, ideal for savouring a celebratory glass of bubbly with your loved ones. The beautiful rustic, open barn offers a sheltered area for dining or for your entertainment, while your guests relax and celebrate your special day surrounded by greenery and florals.

DINING IN THE PRIVATE RESTAURANT
Indulge in our unique restaurant ideal for hosting 50-80 guests for private parties, celebrations and weddings. Seating up to 50 guests, the Restaurant offers formal meals or buffet options for up to 80 people. Giving your guests a relaxed dining experience. With exclusive use for half day or entire day hire, this space also has the use of a private outdoor patio, giving your guests plenty of room to mingle or dine Al Fresco. Please ask your wedding co-ordinator about adding an outside space to your booking.
