Conveniently located just ten minutes from the M1 with close links to the towns of Luton and Bedford, The Rufus Centre offers an out-of-town alternative for celebrations in a semi-rural setting. Booking the venue allows your ceremony and/or wedding reception to be exactly how you want it since the décor is modern and neutral, making it the perfect blank canvas to make your own.

One of the unique selling points is that the team is very flexible with how you choose to use the space. You can opt to bring in external caterers and hire the well-equipped and spacious kitchen, all decorations can be bought in or you can choose to look at their collections to see if anything suits your theme, colour scheme or celebration in general.

The Lockyer Suite is stunningly transformed once the impressive ceiling canopy and sparkly curtain are up and there is ambience lighting equipment available to create a fantastic atmosphere, if required. The venue has adjoining and additional rooms to hire and a pretty, well maintained Wedding Garden for those important photographs to remember your day.

The Rufus Centre has a civil wedding license, ideal if you want to hold everything all under one roof. The largest Wedding Suite can accommodate up to 200 guests for both a ceremony and reception. We also have rooms suitable for an intimate ceremony with 25 - 30 guests or a larger ceremony for 70 guests.

There is a large, free car park with over 100 spaces making it a stress-free arrival experience for you and your guests.

The venue has brand new air conditioning units so that the function suites are at just the right temperature.
