New for 2017, The Reading Room is an enchanting grade 2 listed building located in the North Norfolk countryside, just minutes away from the beautiful Norfolk coastline and fifteen miles from Norwich. The Wedding Venue is ideally located with good transport links, so there are many options for your guests to come for the day or make a longer break staying at the many hotels and pretty B&B’s in the area.

Believed to date back to the 17 century, renovation work will create a venue with unique atmosphere and a special venue for your day. The Reading Room is set in beautiful English garden where you will find a charming woodland walk and pergola walkway framed with beautiful fragrant flowers and roses.

The idyllic setting provides a beautiful space for an outdoor ceremony and many photo opportunities to capture your special memories.

The Reading Room will be licensed for civil ceremonies, which may be held in the main hall or on the terrace as part of a duo ceremony. We welcome all couples whether you choose a civil partnership ceremony at The Reading Room or at your own registry office or religious ceremony in your own church or next door in the beautiful Church of St Ethelberts.
