We have lots of experience in same sex weddings and since taking over The Ravenswood in 2017, we are becoming one of the most popular wedding venues in Sussex.

We want your day to be about you, which is why we only offer exclusive hire of the venue spaces. Or if you truly want to become lord or lady of the manor, you can exclusively hire the entire manor, giving you 34 ensuite bedrooms for you and your guests to enjoy.

We have 4 function rooms for use during the different parts of your day. The Princess Beatrice Suite (named after the daughter of Queen Victoria, who once lived here), The Jacobean Room and The Baronial Hall (the original 15th Century site of the building). These seat up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 300 guests for your evening party. Our Little Castle is perfect for those wishing to have their civil ceremony outside.

Our stunning 18 acres of land contain a pavilion, 4 lakes, ruins, bridges, pleasure gardens and even a giant chair. Our director of the grounds has 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer and so has ensured a fabulous selection of picturesque spots for your photographs.
