The Old Hall Ely is an exclusive use, destination wedding venue. Our stunning Jacobean house is set in plush, manicured gardens overlooking three ornamental lakes and Ely Cathedral. Our venue holds a permanent marquee, multiple bars, picturesque courtyards and terraces, multiple ceremony locations, a hidden dance floor, indoor and outdoor stages, and 16 luxury hotel rooms – our venue is exclusively yours for the day and night of your wedding.

STUNNING IN EVERY SEASON:
With incredible indoor and outdoor spaces, you’re guaranteed your perfect ceremony whatever the weather. Our hand-crafted pavilion overlooks our lakes and gardens with Ely Cathedral on the horizon. Our inside ceremony space, The Orangery, features floor to ceiling glass which can all be opened to unveil a stunning inside-outside space.

In Winter our venue boasts roaring fires, emotive sunsets and cosy indoor spaces. We always go the extra mile in December, with incredible decorations featuring no less than 20 Christmas trees! In Summer you can make the most of our outdoor terraces, courtyards and grounds. Our venue lends itself to all styles of weddings, and all months of the year.

As a family-owned venue hospitality and service are our priority. We have been putting on show stopping weddings for over 10 years, and have a wealth of experience. Our team of Events Managers will guide you through your planning process, they are on hand to answer every query and question that you might have, and will ensure your wedding is tailored perfectly to your style.

Our team of chefs will work with you to make sure your wedding breakfast is crafted exactly to your taste. All catering is provided in house. While we have an extensive menu, we can create stunning dishes to your exact style, whether you’re after an all vegan wedding or a six course feast, we can do it all.

At The Old Hall Ely we believe that planning your wedding should be a magical and stress-free experience. We, therefore, have crafted elegant and exclusive wedding packages for our couples. We are transparent and straightforward when it comes to our package pricing, there will be no nasty surprises later down the line!

FOR THE COUPLE: Complimentary Honeymoon Suite for your wedding night. A dedicated Event Management Team. A complimentary taster event – we don’t do the usual small sample morning – we host an incredible evening event, where you will taste stunning dishes, delicious wines, and will enjoy our venue at its fullest. The marquee and dancefloor will be in full swing, with evening entertainment. This is always a magical evening and an experience our couples never forget.

THE VENUE: All Administration Fees. Exclusive use of the whole house, including marquee, hotel rooms, dancefloor, bar areas, courtyards, and terraces. Multiple locations for your ceremony – both inside and outside. All crockery, silverware, glassware, cake stand and knife, ivory table linen etc. All tables and chairs for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. All catering and service staff.

FOOD & DRINKS: 1 glass of sparkling wine for the reception. 3 different canapés per person. 1 glass of sparkling wine for the toast. 3 course classic wedding breakfast. 1/2 bottle of wine per person. Teas, coffees and petit fours. 1 classic evening meal.
