Our romantic Country House Hotel is home to one of the region’s top restaurants - we are one of only 8 restaurants in South West England to hold 3 AA rosettes. This, combined with our outstanding service, elegant surroundings and show-stopping views over the Tamar Valley, means that we’re Devon’s favourite wedding venue for foodies.

We don’t believe in wedding packages. We’d rather listen to you and your partner, and create something completely bespoke, designed exclusively with you both in mind. We’ll then continually tailor every step of the way to help make both your dreams come true.

As an independent hotel, choice and flexibility are at the heart of The Horn of Plenty, starting with your Civil Ceremony. We have four rooms for your “I do”. Each has its own unique character, but all are equally lovely. With five acres of gorgeous grounds and breathtaking views mean that we can offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

Whether you’d like to celebrate with a handful of close friends and family, or you’d prefer a big celebration, you will find The Horn of Plenty the perfect venue for your big day. We can cater for up to 90 guests in the Main House, or up to 200 guests in a marquee in the gardens. Last Summer we opened a fabulous new accommodation wing, so we now have 16 luxury en-suite bedrooms with a choice of romantic bridal suites, each with big balconies with stunning views.

We are proud to have been awarded a host of recent accolades, including “National Small Hotel of the Year” – Silver Award (Visit England 2015/16); “Devon Small Hotel of the Year” (Devon Tourism Awards 2014/15), and “Devon Wedding Venue of the Year” (West Country Wedding Awards 2013). We’ve also won a place in The Sunday Times’ “Ultimate 100 British Hotels” in 2015/16.
