The luxurious Green House is a beautiful wedding and civil ceremony venue. The hotel opened to critical acclaim in July 2010 and has 32 beautiful guest rooms, a chic bar and an award winning restaurant. The hotel also boasts private events rooms, beautiful gardens and is situated a stone's throw from Bournemouth's stunning beach.

Within months of opening, the hotel was voted number one boutique eco hotel in the World (British Airways Highlife Magazine) and Small Hotel of the Year at the Bournemouth Tourism Awards. In April 2011 it was listed by The Independent as one of the top 100 UK wedding venues and Wedding Magazine have named the Green House in their Top 100 best UK wedding venues again this year.

In 2011 we were awarded a Gold merit by the Green Business Tourism Scheme and were listed as the only UK hotel in the Guardian's Green Travel List 2011. We were also awarded the AA Eco hotel of the year award 2012- 2013. We were also crowned Considerate Hotel of the Year in 2013.

Our highly acclaimed Chef, Andrew Hilton and his team bring something very special to the Bournemouth food scene at the Green House. Seasonal produce is sourced locally and everything is freshly prepared even the bread is baked on site. When you eat with us you will see why it has been described as 'the most innovative and exciting food we've tasted' (The Bournemouth Echo) and why we won Silver in the Eating Out category of the Dorset Tourism Awards.

The wine list holds organic and biodynamic wines and also includes local sparkling wine from Furleigh Estate and English Oak vineyards.

That's why, before we even start to talk about the details of your perfect day, we take the time to get to know you. From a society wedding on a grand scale to an intimate reception dinner, it's all about how you feel and what you want.

Our dedicated team of personal planners will cater for your every need – from wedding stationery, dresses and flowers to chauffeurs, photographers and entertainment. We are absolutely committed to helping you bring the wedding of your dreams to life. Every single detail will be attended to by us leaving you free to enjoy every moment of your day.

Arbor Restaurant with large curved windows and stylish design, offers the perfect room for your ceremony of up to 70 and your wedding breakfast for up to 70 guests.

The Private Events Room is a self contained event room with bar, wash rooms, dance floor, private entrance and direct access to the gardens at the front of the hotel. It can accommodate a ceremony for 100 and a wedding breakfast of 72.

For a wedding breakfast of up to 120 guests the hotel can accommodate a luxurious marquee on the front lawn. The lawn is also perfect for wedding reception drinks and canapés.

For a really magical, intimate vibe, we can even arrange for you and your guests to have the whole place to yourselves. Think of it as your own perfect wedding bubble, where everything can be exactly the way you want it - and you really can dance like no one is watching.

With no other guests to cater for, our head chef Andy Hilton and his team can focus totally on you and yours. For your wedding breakfast, evening buffet or morning-after brunch (organic Bloody Marys on request), Andy will create unique menus for you using his passion for local, seasonal ingredients and his detailed knowledge of your personal likes and dislikes. Remember that your guests pay for their rooms which offsets some of the cost!
