Once the official staging post for the renowned Manchester Flier, The Cock Hotel is an Historic 15th century Coaching Inn located in the scenic market town of Stony Stratford, 10 minutes from Milton Keynes and within easy reach of the M1 and the A5.

The hotel has a Civil Ceremony License for 2 function rooms, The Marquee Suite which will comfortably accommodate a ceremony up to 100 guests and The Oak Room which can accommodate up to 50 guests. The hotel is a popular Wedding Venue for Civil Ceremonies, Same Sex Marriages, Civil Partnerships and equal marriages as well as Vow Renewals.

THE MARQUEE SUITE was historically a Coach House, it is tastefully renovated giving it a unique and warm ambience, the room opens up onto an open air courtyard, and has easy ground floor accessibility. There is a private bar in the room, a dance floor and PA system.

The Marquee Suite can cater for up to 80 guests for a formal buffet, 100 guests for a seated 3 course meal and up to 150 guests for an informal evening reception.

THE OAK ROOM is located up a small flight of stairs on the first floor with easy access to the public bar, you can provide your own background music, this room is unsuitable for an evening disco/band, ideal for smaller groups.

The Oak Room is able to cater for up to 50 guests for a Civil Ceremony and 35 guests for a formal meal or buffet.

There are 30 end-suite bedrooms and reduced rates are offered to Wedding guests attending a Wedding at the hotel.

Wedding guests can also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in the recently refurbished public bar and an excellent choice of dishes from the extensive and extremely good value bar menu which is available throughout the bar/restaurant and weather permitting in the Courtyard, free Wi-Fi also available via the cloud throughout the hotel.

The hotel is unique and is very popular for Weddings, it’s advisable to book early to reserve a preferred date particularly in the Summer months.
