Royal Holloway is a stunning wedding venue. We have several lavish and impressive function spaces, licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships as well as wedding receptions, all located in the spectacular Grade 1 listed Founder’s Building.

The Picture Gallery
Housing one of the country’s finest private collections of Victorian art, the Picture Gallery is grand, spectacular and steeped in history. It is the perfect space for a wedding breakfast or civil ceremony, with seating for up to 120 people.

Founder’s Dining Hall
Classic, elegant and spacious, The Founder’s Dining Hall – with its high ceilings and subtle décor – is a wonderful and romantic civil ceremony, wedding breakfast or reception space and can host up to 200 guests.

The Crossland Suite
A contemporary breath of fresh air, the Crossland Suite is a fantastic space for couples looking for an intimate celebration with a modern feel. Used most frequently as an evening reception venue, it can accommodate up to 120 guests.

The Quadrangles
The beautiful quadrangles offer a fantastic outside space that can be used in conjunction with our indoor function rooms. They are ideally suited for drinks receptions while the Founder’s Building offers the perfect backdrop for your photographs.

Civil ceremony and reception packages
Our combined civil ceremony and reception packages are perfect if you would like to get married at Royal Holloway before continuing the celebrations in one of our beautiful reception rooms. Alternatively, if you’re having your ceremony elsewhere or you’re already married but want to celebrate in style, our reception only packages are budget friendly and brilliantly versatile.
