We welcome everyone and Roulotte Retreat is LGBTQ friendly offering same-sex elopements and weddings. We love to help couples create their dream into reality with sprinklings of imagination, romance and magic!

For small wedding gatherings we offer bespoke accommodation in the wildflower meadow where guests and nature can live in harmony. Indulge in the glamorous comforts of our roulottes with salon, silk and velvet boudoirs, en suite, kitchen facilities and al fresco dining on the deck.

There are seven Roulottes and Horseshoe Cottage with Ruby Bowtop, accommodating up to 22 guests on site for the more intimate wedding, with an option to invite just a few more to maximum 35.

Wellbeing is well catered for with the natural surroundings, dark skies, fresh air and to enhance your stay there are eco hot tubs, outdoor copper bath tubs, eco saunas with panorama windows facing out towards sunset and the stars at night.

The 1950's wooden Studio offers a large, elegant space to get together with friends and family who are staying on site for celebrations and receptions. Inside, guests can gather around the huge wood burning stove at its heart to dine, dance and enjoy time together. Outside amidst woodland, a Scots Pine tree grows up through the wooden covered deck with rustic bar, quirky lights and lanterns.

Dine as you wish, it’s your day! We can recommend experienced and innovative caterers who can cook up a storm for you. The choice is yours - street food style serving up the most delicious food; tasting menu created by a chef, seated at tables around the wood burning stove in the Studio or cook together for a more informal vibe.

Intimate weddings at Roulotte Retreat have all been completely different with guests creating their own wedding style. Over the years there have been vintage cars, Harleys, tandems, street food, tasting menus, shadow cutters, vintage ice cream bicycles, campfires, twilight ceremonies, picnics, acoustic music around the fire, jazz on the deck, ceilidhs, owls flying in the wedding rings, Scottish Pipers, the list is endless and not one celebration has been the same.

Roulotte Retreat can help you organise a Humanist Celebrant, Registrar, Interfaith Minister, Pagan Celebrant or some couples have brought their own Minister. Ancient traditions and customs can enhance your ceremony.
