Gay Friendly Wedding Venue in Prested Chase, Feering, Colchester. CO5 9EE

If you’re looking for an exclusive wedding venue in Essex, the moment you walk over the threshold you’ll realise that Prested Hall is different and special.

Winner of “Boutique Venue of The Year” (2012 Essex Wedding Awards), this charming listed manor house just outside Colchester is exclusively yours with its 14 beautiful bedrooms, fine period interiors, a pretty gazebo outside and a traditional marquee in summer. We’re one of the most prestigious wedding venues in Essex.

Prested is known for its stunning parkland setting at the end of a tree-lined drive, its delicious food, relaxed welcoming atmosphere and its wonderful staff who go that extra mile for every couple, making Prested one of the most popular wedding venues in Essex.

Three of Prested’s handsome reception rooms and the gazebo outside are licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can choose where you want your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening entertainment, and you can dress the house in your own way. Summer weddings include the use of a traditional marquee on the lawn.

As a Prested couple, you will be offered a bespoke menu approach or a selection of appetising menus.

Extra options include the Peresteda apartments offering extra accommodation for up to 20 people in Prested’s health club building. We also have an Elemis spa, and a hair and beauty salon for your wedding preparations and for use on the day.

Prested has great charm and has won many hearts over the years. It is privately-owned and prides itself on listening to couples and ensuring that every detail of their day is just as they wish it to be.

Prested weddings are relaxed, intimate weddings, where you can feel “at home” for your big day. With your close friends and family staying overnight and the rest of your guests joining you for the day and evening, you can relax together and enjoy this very special occasion in total privacy, knowing that Prested’s experienced and attentive team are taking care of every detail. We’re proud that Prested is also one of the most easily-accessed wedding venues in Essex.

Breakfast with friends and family the following morning is another special and popular occasion - a brilliant Prested bonus, making us stand out from other wedding venues in Essex.
