Welcome to the Mercure Chester North Hotel, situated in the quiet rural surroundings of Little Sutton, where you and your guests are guaranteed to have warm welcome and a day to remember. We are a gay friendly venue & have hosted many same sex weddings successfully over the past couple of years.

Mercure Chester North has an excellent reputation for food and service, backed up by our friendly and professional team who will assist you from booking the date to cutting the cake. Just as important, we also genuinely offer excellent value for money.

We recognise that every wedding is different-that's why we are completely flexible and happy to discuss your specific requirements to ensure that our hotel provides imagination, flair and the perfect setting.

The Hotel is licensed for Civil Marriages. We have four suites to choose from:-

• Hawthorn 1 & 2 can host up to 100 guests; ideal for your wedding ceremony & reception
• Hawthorn 3 can host up to 70 guests.
• Cedar suite can host a maximum of 50 guests and is situated on the ground floor close to all hotel amenities. The Cedar Suite has natural daylight and has recently been refurbished, offering a light and modern feel, an ideal room for both the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.
• Willow can host a maximum of 15 guests perfect for smaller intimate family gatherings

Our Head chef can provide a wonderful selection of dishes to suit many tastes and would be delighted to arrange a bespoke menu for you and your guests. If there are any guests with different dietary requirements, you can leave it with us to accommodate any special arrangements.

Our small intimate gardened area is ideal for the more personal family photographs; there is also a large area for the bigger pictures with friends and family.

The Mercure Chester North Hotel has 75 en-suite bedrooms consisting of twin rooms, double & family rooms to suites for the Bride & Groom. We offer great rates for your wedding guests including breakfast and complimentary use of the hotel leisure facilities.

We know how important it is that you choose the right venue, so we can provisionally hold a date for you for 14 days to give you time to make your decision. If you decide to book, a deposit of £300.00 (non-refundable) will secure the date.
