The Hotel is located in 150 acres of idyllic Hertfordshire countryside, yet is within easy reach of major motorways and airports and offers free on-site parking for 200 cars. Stansted Airport is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from this beautifully restored Georgian Manor House.

The stunning architecture and picturesque grounds provide the perfect backdrop for your special day and make the Manor of Groves an ideal Wedding venue for same-sex weddings. The hotel has two charming outdoor gazebos which are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships, allowing you to exchange your vows al fresco in the stunning grounds. Alternatively a choice of beautiful function rooms is available for indoor ceremonies.

For Wedding Receptions, situated in its own building, the Manor Suite has a wealth of air-conditioned adaptable space and can accommodate up to 400 guests. The suite benefits from an exclusive bar, cloakroom, entrance hall, toilets and a private powder room for the Wedding couple. Doors lead out to the magnificent Oriental Garden complete with its flowing waterfall, oriental timber bridge, pergola, gazebo and breath-taking views reaching far out onto the horizon. The Manor Suite may be hired as a venue only option and comes complete with kitchen space.

If your wish is to celebrate your wedding in a room full of character, history and beauty then the Colonnade Suite is the perfect venue for you. Suitable for up to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast and 150 for an evening reception, the Georgian elegance of the Colonnade overlooks a manicured garden and is a photographer’s delight.
The suite has its own exclusive bar and benefits from the stylish Loggia complete with its original neoclassical tiled flooring and glass façade that opens out onto the gardens.

Manor of Groves offers a range of packages to suit all requirements plus the benefits of 80 bedrooms on site, a Health Club with Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi plus three floor Gym which is complimentary for all residents to use.
