Low House offers an intimate, period-style backdrop for a truly memorable wedding and civil partnership celebration – magnificent grounds and spectacular views, along with a number of warm and welcoming fireplaces, ensure a perfect venue for all seasons.

The Main Hall, Old Dining Room and Drawing Room are all licensed for civil ceremonies and each provides a unique backdrop for a romantic ceremony for up to 80 guests.

The expansive grounds offer even more choice for couples with two enchanting gazebos, the Eden Valley and the Armathwaite, licensed for unforgettable outdoor ceremonies.

While the Main Hall is perfect for hosting smaller, intimate wedding breakfasts the Front Lawn or Courtyard Lawn will provide a beautifully manicured site for your chosen marquee if you are having a larger celebration for up to 200 guests.

Low House is only made available on an exclusive basis, ensuring privacy and personal attention on your special day and meaning that we are on hand to assist you both with planning and preparation with as much, or as little help, as you require.

Catering
The food is central to any important celebration and here at Low House we are fortunate enough to have our very own, specialist in-house caterer. Sara Ecroyd Catering will develop menus to suit your personal tastes and budget, and you can be confident that whatever you choose, it will be beautifully presented and, most importantly, will taste delicious.
