An ancient barn that has stood for centuries set amidst a historic landscape, Godwick offers an event venue that is a harmonious mix of traditional and modern, blending ancient architecture with contemporary additions. You and your guests will instantly feel welcomed - just as though you are a new member of the family.

Godwick is the perfect setting for your same-sex wedding, civil ceremony or civil partnership. If you are looking for a big, rustic barn celebration for 120 guests, you have the option of saying your vows on the lawn overlooking the lost village of Godwick or under the beautiful oak beams within Godwick Great Barn.

Or, alternatively, if you would like a small intimate ceremony, you can choose the drawing room at Godwick Hall, where we can accommodate up to 25 guests or for an even more intimate affair we also offer elopement weddings for just the two of you.

Godwick is flexible, but well organised, so you can design your day exactly as you want and take as much or as little advice from your dedicated wedding planner. We firmly believe that your day should be unique as you.

Across the site we can accommodate 30 adult guests in the summer and 26 in the winter. Godwick Hall is the crown jewel of the accommodation with seven individually designed bedrooms, sleeping 14 adults, it combines traditional features with modern luxury. Sleeping six, The Old Stables is a little slice of rural contemporary magic. The 19th Century stable block has been refurbished and modernised to make it a stunning small bolthole on the Godwick estate.

The meadows of Godwick Hall are now home to two off-grid boho style Lotus Belle stargazing tents. These are fabulous tents to lie back in the comfort of your superking bed and be amazed by the Godwick night sky. There’s no finer way to glamp than literally under the stars, but in a warm cosy bed.
