From your very first visit to the moment you say “I do,” you’ll find a warm, genuine atmosphere and a team who truly care about making your celebration unforgettable.

Your ceremony can take place in our beautiful Orchard Barn, a 14th-century thatched barn full of rustic charm and natural light, or at the romantic gazebo, a gorgeous outdoor setting. Afterwards, you can have your photographs in our beautiful gardens before heading to the magnificent Mill Pond Barn for your wedding breakfast and evening celebration. With its vaulted oak beams, twinkling lights, and views across the water, it’s a space made for joy, laughter, and dancing the night away.

Colville Hall is an exclusive-use venue, giving you and your guests complete privacy throughout your day. You’ll have full access to the barns, gardens, and can book our luxurious on-site accommodation – perfect for couples and guests who wish to stay overnight and wake up to peaceful countryside views. The Honeymoon Suite, a charming standalone thatched cottage, is a particular favourite, ideal for a romantic first morning as newlyweds.

We offer a variety of catering and drinks options, from elegant three-course dining to relaxed feasts, BBQs, or sharing boards, all designed to reflect your personal style by our caterers, Limeberry. Our recommended suppliers include some of the region’s best photographers, florists, stylists, and entertainers, many of whom have worked with our LGBTQ+ couples and share our inclusive approach.

Colville Hall is located in Essex near excellent access routes from London, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Suffolk, making it easy for guests to travel from near or far.
