Set in 543 acres of stunning parkland, we are same sex marriage friendly venues with civil license and offer three locations to suit the scale of your celebrations and the size of your guest list perfectly.
Each venue boasts a stunning backdrop for your ceremony with the Broadwater Lake splitting the estate parkland, making it an idyllic setting for guests.
Hall
For lovers of history and the elegance of a bygone era, the grandeur of the Regency Hall coupled with traditional butler service and surrounded by Capability Brown inspired parkland serves to provide the most beautiful and romantic backdrop for wedding ceremonies and wedding breakfasts.
The magnificent Ballroom accommodates up to 150 guests for a sit down meal, while the Boardroom can accommodate 150 guests for a civil ceremony and up to 200 for an evening reception.
There are 30 luxurious double bedrooms within Brocket Hall and a further 16 bedrooms in the Melbourne Lodge, sleeping a maximum of 88 guests.
Offering complete exclusivity for you and your guests, the house can only accommodate one wedding each day. Golf Club
The newly Melbourne Club could not be set in a more idyllic location and is the perfect venue for your next event. Overlooking the tranquil Broadwater Lake with views of the classic, Melbourne 18th hole over the water, the Clubhouse provides first class private dining facilities in tranquil surroundings.
The Oak Room can accommodate 120 guests comfortably for a formal dinner and dance, and 150 people for a cocktail buffet with dancing. The room has a vaulted oak beam ceiling and direct access to the terrace for your drinks reception, with glorious views across the water and to Brocket Hall.
For a more intimate venue, the elegant Piano Lounge is ideal, seating up to 26 people for a meal, whilst still providing beautiful views over the terrace, looking out onto the Auberge du Lac.
Auberge du Lac
Whether a small intimate occasion or perhaps exclusive use of the restaurant, we will blend the day to your exact requirements, enabling you to relax and give exclusive attention to your special guests.
Each room is licensed for civil ceremonies. Canapés, champagne and your carefully selected menu discussed with and prepared by our Executive Chef Matt Edmonds, will then be served.
Guests will be able to enjoy superb views over the Broadwater Lake and beyond to the majestic Brocket Hall. This former Hunting Lodge and immediate grounds offer superb photographic opportunities that will provide many happy memories.
Auberge du Lac is the ideal venue for up to 60 guests, with the option to utilise our intimate private rooms for a romantic smaller occasion. Whichever option you choose, your time at Auberge du Lac will be special.
Melbourne Lodge
Additional accommodation is available on the estate for you and your guests to prolong your time here on the estate. The Melbourne Lodge has 16 en suite bedrooms in the renovated stable barn where the previous occupants of the Hall kept their horses. Centrally located on the estate, Melbourne Lodge offers easy access to all three venues which are situated nearby.
Activities
Activities have long been featured on the Brocket Hall Estate, ever since residents raced horses around the estate. Today, Brocket Hall offers an infinite array of activities that could make your special day even more unforgettable. Take advantage of our clay pigeon shooting field and spacious activity area when you visit Brocket Hall; country pursuits, archery or even rally kart racing are just a selection of ideas that you and your guests will love.
Golf
During your time on the estate, you may wish to enjoy the brilliant golfing facilities that we have here at Brocket Hall. Experience our two championship golf courses, named after the Prime Ministers who used to reside at Brocket Hall; the Palmerston Golf Academy for expert tuition and practice facilities; and the clubhouse for a post round drink.
