Brinsop Court is a grade 1-listed medieval moated manor which has been lovingly restored to offer you a grand and memorable venue - surrounded by your close family and friends.

We believe that having spare time is a luxury – and this is one of the many luxuries that we can provide.

Our speciality is the extended, unhurried celebration, midweek or weekend, giving couples (and their guests), the opportunity of taking three or four days to truly enjoy themselves. We offer a choice of a three night midweek, or a two night weekend wedding celebration stay, including generous gourmet breakfast hampers for accommodated guests.

Here, you and your guests can relax, catch up with each other, take walks on the estate and take part in pre-wedding activities, many of which are offered on the estate such as fishing, tennis, Treasure trails, horse riding and more.

The luxury bedrooms in the Manor House can accommodate up to 28 guests providing exclusive use of the entire manor house and extensive estate grounds.

We also have Ivy Cottage, a secluded and romantic wedding couples cottage. An Aga in the kitchen, cosy sitting room with a wood burner, beautiful bedroom with a spectacular en-suite bathroom and a terrace with a private hot tub, all add to the sheer romance of this cottage - ideal for your very own private celebration after the wedding.

Whether playing host to small intimate ceremonies or larger celebrations, in winter, spring, summer and autumn, indoors or outside, you will discover a unique and magical setting for your civil ceremony.

In summer the gardens lend a quintessentially English country feel to your celebrations whilst winter weddings are particularly atmospheric with roaring log fires in the magnificent open fireplaces throughout the house.

We are licensed for wedding ceremonies in three beautiful rooms for up to 70 people and can also offer the use of the ancient courtyard for outdoor weddings.

The medieval Banqueting Hall is full of atmosphere and perfect for hosting your wedding breakfast. Choose one of our 3 preferred caterers to deliver a delicious dinner tailored to your requirements and budget. There is no corkage charge and you are free to arrange your own bar service with your evening party in the Games Room. Finally, you may choose to round off your celebrations with a late brunch or barbecue shared by all your accommodated guests the next day.
