Bignor Park is a dream venue for wedding ceremonies or partnerships, and receptions. It epitomises rural elegance and offers flexibility and exclusivity in the heart of West Sussex.

Located 14 miles north of Chichester, and just south of Petworth, London is also just 90 minutes away.

The 1200 acre, privately owned estate enjoys the most beautiful and unspoilt surroundings at the foot of the magnificent South Downs, within the new South Downs National Park. Tucked far away from traffic noise and civilisation down an impressive half mile long drive, it is majestic but with an understated style, and a quirky rugged charm.

For weddings at Bignor Park, we provide you with the blank canvas, the rest is over to your imagination and aspirations to create your perfect day. It will be a unique experience, because the versatility of our setting means you can choose exactly how you want it. But more than that, Bignor Park is family-run and we limit our wedding bookings to twelve couples per year with only one booking per weekend. We can therefore go the extra mile to make sure your wedding runs smoothly, and you and your guests are relaxed, excited and have a fabulous time.

Ceremonies and Partnerships at Bignor Park:
Bignor Park is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and partnerships outdoors in the delightful Greek Loggia. This beautiful and romantic setting is situated within the formal gardens, and is one of only a handful of wedding venues with an outside ceremony location.

The Greek Loggia is a roofed, stone porch and your guests (up to approx. 170) will be seated on the lawn in front of the Loggia, surrounded by the glorious gardens - a more magical setting for your wedding ceremony would be hard to find.

In addition, the Coach Store of the Stables is also licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships of up to 70 guests.

Wedding Reception options at Bignor Park:
The Stables are a charming, rustic complex of rooms that have been lovingly restored to their original condition when built 200 years ago.

The Stables comprise 5 rooms:
• The Coach Store - a large dancing room, or to seat 70 for dining.
• The Stove Room - adjoined to the Coach Store and a further dining room to seat 20 or set up a bar.
• The Stalls - an additional entertaining room with 4 original horse stalls.
• The Tack Room - a private room for a quiet moment.
• The Garden Room - a food preparation room for caterers.

The Stables are situated around a Courtyard, and to seat up to approx. 170 guests, you can put up a marquee in the Courtyard, which is attached to the open Stable doors.

In addition, the Coach Store opens out onto the Quadrangle – a secluded walled garden perfect for drinks or evening relaxation. The Quadrangle can accommodate a marquee either for dancing, or to seat up to 80 for dining.

Finally, the Croquet Lawn offers a setting of quintessential Sussex countryside for a marquee wedding reception. Surrounded by historic parkland, the panoramic view from the Croquet Lawn is truly breathtaking. The Croquet Lawn can accommodate up to 200 guests in a marquee with a dance floor, and you would also have the use of the Stables for later - ideal for dancing, or creating a relaxed area to chill out.
