THE VENUE

The BEST WESTERN Royal Clifton Hotel & Spa in Southport is noted for its exceptional range of facilities and excellent standards of service.

Over recent years it has been thoughtfully refurbished to offer you the comfort you expect in the best location for a hotel in Southport. We have a choice of bedrooms including spacious family rooms and suites. Also the hotel boasts superb health club & spa facilities.

Located on Southports' Promenade, the beautiful Victorian building provides the perfect setting for either a large family or a small intimate wedding.

Situated opposite the hotel are the King's Gardens and Marine Lake which offers a fantastic backdrop for any photographs.

Our Wedding venue offers a wide choice of wedding packages to suit every occasion and with a selection of banqueting suites catering from 10-250 guests, no wedding is too big or small.

We also have two beautiful patio areas which offers the perfect place for arrival drinks or a summer BBQ.

If you have any special requests or fancy doing something a little bit different, we will be more than happy to customize a package to suit your individual needs.

CIVIL CEREMONIES

Best Western Royal Clifton Hotel is fully licensed to carry out Civil ceremony, in all three of our function suites, we welcome same sex weddings and Civil partnerships and to ensure your Civil ceremony is special our experienced Master of Ceremonies will be on hand to welcome you and your guests to the reception suite and help calm any last minute nerves.

Any prices quoted do not include the charge of the registrar and it is your responsibility to liaise directly with them. Our local registrar’s office can be contacted on 0151 934 2012.

THE WINDSOR

The beautifully decorated Windsor Suite comfortably accommodates 60 to 100 guests for awedding breakfast and 100 to 200 for your evening celebrations. It also has the benefit of aprivate courtyard with BBQ area, the courtyard is lit up with twinkling lights and lanterns forthat perfect summer evening.

The Windsor Suite has a wealth of original Victorian features to give your celebration a uniqueatmosphere including the adjoining Chatsworth lounge and bar with its grand piano for thatperfect picture moment.

THE BALMORAL

If you prefer more contemporary surroundings then The Balmoral Suite is the ideal setting,with its art deco features and large swagged windows that give the perfect back drop for thetop table. This Suite also boasts a large private courtyard, ideal for the outside ceremony,together with its very own private bar. The Balmoral can accommodate 60 to 120 guests for awedding breakfast and 120 to 190 for your evening celebrations.

THE OSBORNE

With its feature fireplace backdrop and Victorian splendour the Osborne Suite is ideal forcandlelit ceremonies and more intimate gatherings, with a private bar and entrance the suitecan accommodate 50 to 70 guests for a wedding breakfast and 100 for the evening celebrations.

ACCOMMODATION

Included in our wedding packages would be a four poster honeymoon suite for the night of the wedding for the happy couple. We would also offer preferential rates to friends and family attending your special day.
