With its Gothic architecture, grand, turreted façades and historic grounds, Ashridge House is the perfect backdrop to host your wedding day. Whether you choose to tie the knot on the magnificent sweeping staircase overlooking the Grand Hall or say ‘I do’ in the Lady Marian Alford Room with its opulent gold leaf adorned ceiling, Ashridge House is steeped in historic charm and grandeur. If the sun is shining, using the South Terrace as your stage is a magical option as you can take advantage of the beautiful views of the private gardens. The Victorian Fernery set in formal gardens offers a more intimate feel for smaller weddings or elopements.

Ashridge House is also able to offer blessings in the Chapel, providing a romantic scene in which to set your day. Whether you are planning an intimate wedding or a grand wedding ceremony for up to 170 guests, Ashridge House’s timeless elegance offers a fairy-tale setting for your special day. If you would like to share your day with additional guests, they can host up to 210 guests in their largest space for a formal sit-down dinner and up to 400 for a magical reception. With 190 bedrooms available on the estate, your loved ones can relax and enjoy Ashridge House’s exquisite setting.
