The Great Hall’s spectacular staircase promises a breath-taking entrance to your Civil Ceremony. With its 70ft high ceiling and oak paneling this room is the perfect setting in which to ‘tie the knot’ and to share the magical first moments of your married life with your family and friends.

After signing the register in the sumptuous Drawing Room, you can re-join your guests for drinks, canapés and entertainment in the Memorial Garden or in the Great Hall if the weather is inclement. The numerous, unrivaled and stunning backdrops offered by Allerton Castle present endless opportunities for your photographer to capture memories of your day.

A fairy tale wedding deserves a dream wedding breakfast and the beautiful, vaulted ballroom provides an elegant setting for up to 120 guests. The tables are set with white linen, fine china and glassware as chosen from our handpicked caterers Bradshaws of York.
