Originally a Victorian coaching inn, The Rosendale today is a magnificent public house, boasting a handsome bar, an elegant dining room, three outstanding gardens and two beautiful private rooms.
Located in leafy West Dulwich, the landmark tavern has its own wedding license allowing you to enjoy your big day from start to finish.
Exclusive hire of the entire venue is available. Alternatively host your nuptials in the stunning East and West Rooms located upstairs.
The lovingly restored East Room, dressed in a palette of creams and whites, is the ideal space for an intimate wedding ceremony. It can hold up to 40 people standing or 20 seated. It can also be used in conjunction with the West Room, where it provides an excellent area for a welcome cocktail and canapé reception.
The sophisticated West Room is bursting with original charm and elegant architecture. Ideal for a chic wedding breakfast for 100 seated, it can also host 160 guests standing. For the all-important speeches and party, there are DJ facilities, a Bose sound system, a 2 metre projector and free WiFi. For those so inclined The Rosendale also has access to the Lucky Voice Karaoke system, the UK’s leading song library.
All three gardens at the Rosendale are available for use, making it the perfect wedding venue if the weather is kind. Guests can adjourn before or after the meal. Alternatively have some of your wedding photos taken against a beautiful green backdrop.
The Rosendale serves simple, seasonal and sustainable food, including free-range chicken and pork from their very own farm, as well as excellent ales, award-winning wines and innovative cocktails. Work with our wedding coordinator to create bespoke food and drinks menus that start from as little as £27.50 per person for three courses.
Enjoy dishes such as Cornish crab cakes or courgette fritters with flower tempura, feta and a tomato salsa to start. Tuck into pan-fried hake with crayfish, samphire and Jersey Royals or Orkney sirloin steak with hand cut chips for main course. For pudding, get excited about apple and rhubarb crumble or the best banoffee pie you’ve ever eaten.
