Description
We built the Eden Project in Cornwall in a disused clay mine, transforming it into a rich global garden where people can learn about our dependence on nature and be inspired by the world around them.
Eden is an educational charity and social enterprise. The money we raise underpins our projects on education, research, conservation and sustainable futures.
Getting married at Eden means you are not only helping to fund a charitable project, you are also supporting our programmes.
THE MEDITERRANEAN BIOME
In the heart of the Mediterranean Biome you have the sights and scents of the Citrus Grove. Relax surrounded by citrus trees, olives, fragrant herbs and lilies.
It is perfect for a drinks reception and canapés following the ceremony, allowing the couple to have their photos taken against a stunning Mediterranean backdrop.
The Biome can also be used as the magical setting for a BBQ banquet or afternoon tea as part of your evening reception.
THE RAINFOREST BIOME
From the Tropical Islands to Malaysia and South America to West Africa, from mango groves and oil palms to bamboo plantations and a banana farm, come and behold the world’s largest greenhouse, and discover the rainforest complete with waterfall. Ideal for smaller ceremonies.
THE GALLERY
A spectacular location for a ceremony or reception, with breath taking panoramic views over Eden, the gardens and Biomes.
Light, spacious and versatile the Gallery can be used for a formal sit down wedding breakfast or a BBQ banquet.
FOOD AND DRINKS
We can produce a bespoke menu, whether a traditional three-course sit down meal, afternoon tea or a BBQ seasonal banquet, all with a strong focus on locally produced, seasonal food.
Three course menus in the Gallery and The Deli start from £25.00 per person. In the Mediterranean Biome from £40.00 per person.
Drinks receptions can be anything from Pimm’s to Champagne via banana bread beer. We can provide a wide range of exciting drinks to toast your big day.
You can source your own wine or Champagne and pay a corkage fee.
FLOWERS
Our Flower Fairies, part of the horticultural team, can create bespoke designs that incorporate seasonal flowers to complement your colour scheme.
TRANSPORT
We can transport you and your guests to the Biomes on our Land train, specially decorated for the occasion!
