Pennsylvania Castle is licenced for civil ceremonies and receptions and offers the perfect backdrop to your wedding day.

Your ceremony

Pennsylvania Castle is really suited to more intimate weddings where all your guests are with you to enjoy the whole of your day.

Wedding ceremonies can take place both inside and outside the Castle offering spectacular sea views from wherever you chose to say your vows.

For wedding ceremonies within the Castle we can seat up to the following capacities;

• Library - wedding party of up to 30 people
• Drawing Room - wedding party of up to 60 people
• Dining Room – wedding party of up to 60 people

We also offer two outside ceremony spaces, for upto 100 guests, so you may choose to be married on the terrace or within the beautiful gardens.

Once your ceremony has finished you may then wish to enjoy the immaculate grounds designed to provide secluded retreats and extensive photo opportunities.

Your Reception

Pennsylvania Castle is hired on an exclusive basis for your wedding day so while you are here the Castle is yours to enjoy.

Following your wedding ceremony, you may wish to serve drinks and canapés in the gardens or from one of the many reception rooms within the Castle whilst photographs are taken within the extensive grounds.

Wedding breakfasts can be accommodated for up to 60 people in our Dining Room or, between April and October, wedding parties of up to 100 guests can dine in the Orangery providing the perfect location with views of the Dorset coastline and English Channel.

We are able to cater for your every need whether your ideal celebration is a relaxed and intimate gathering for close family and friends or a slightly grander affair.
